Dental insurance is unlike medical insurance, it is actually not insurance but a limited annual benefit program. Most dental insurance has a maximum amount of coverage per year with many restrictions and limitations along with co-pay and co-insurance requirements that must be met in order to receive the maximum annual benefit. We will do our best to get the most coverage from your dental insurance. Typically when a patient requires specialty dental care they will exceed the annual dental insurance coverage and be responsible for fees beyond the maximum annual benefit or fees for services that are not covered by their dental insurance.
